Amy Regutti is a surrealist painter.
Her paintings explore the liminal space of the "chance encounter". Utilizing acrylic on wood, she brings to life creatures of her own making, blending surrealist tradition with a contemporary, precision based hand. Amy exhibits nationally and internationally. Her paintings have exhibited in the Surreal Salons 11, 12 and 13 at the Baton Rouge Gallery.
Amy graduated with a BFA from Northern Illinois University and a MSOM from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. She lives and works in Madison, Wisconsin with her husband, Roger.
